Spiritual Inertia, Circular Desire, an event of screenings and live performances exploring the tension between individual affective experiences and collective dimension.
Spiritual Inertia, Circular Desire explores the tension between individual affective experiences and collective dimension, through visual and performative practices that reflect on different forms of rituality.
In every system of human coexistence, individual and collective dimensions imply and exclude each other, generating an unsolvable circular process that informs them with a destabilising logic. The potentially destructive force of this hiatus is however usually deactivated by forms of collective rituals that allow it to be transformed into creative energy, activating processes of decomposition and subjective recomposition.
